The closest Beach from Pune. Diveagar is the nearest Beach from pune. It is one of the cleanest beach along Westren coast.The Beach is Approx 158 km from pune,road is via chandni chowk paud road, pirangut,Mulshi,Tamani ghat,Mangaon, from mangaon Approx 42 km is Diveagar Beach..


You will find hardly a plane road in your journey to Diveagar, the route is max with ghats, first the pirangut ghat,then mulshi ghat, then Tamani Ghat, then ghat of Diveagar.


Condition of road is average throught, but the journey is all fill with senic beauty.Trees, bushes, flowers, mountains, valleys, ghats, waterfalls, lakes, and much more...


The best time to visit : June to September.


For exploring Dolfins: November to January


Diveagar is best place for viewing Dolfins, as the water in deeper sea is blue, which is best site for "bottelnose" Dolfins(:-


During rainy season fishing is Banned in sea as of condition of high tide.The sea is most aggresive in rainy season because of southwest mansoon winds.Boats and ship do not enter the sea till "narali pornima" "Narali pournima" :-)The festival celebrated by "kolhi" (fishermens caste) people.According to tradition the people of kolhi religion greet coconut to sea to get slient and to allow them fishing in sea.It is the biggest festival celebrated along costal side of maharashtra


To the north side of Diveagar there is Harihareshwar and to the south side Shrivardhan.


One should plan the trip considering all this this three beaches,


Now lets talk about the route from Diveagar to Shrivardhan,


haaaaa i have never seen this kind of scenes before, distance from Diveagar to Shrivardhan is of 20 km approx along the beach side road.The beauty is undefineable.There are many untouched beaches to the route.
